The Irish Dementia Working Group, in conjunction with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, has published a useful booklet entitled “I have dementia … first steps after diagnosis”.  The booklet is for people who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another cause of dementia.  People with dementia helped to write the booklet, and it contains the following:

• information about dementia
• practical tips to help you live well, and
• details of where you can go to find out about supports and  services
