Talk on Fair Deal and Homecare in Milltown: Our latest Fair Deal seminar took place in Milltown Parish Centre last night, Thursday 28 January 2016.  A crowd of around 60 attendees listened first to an explanation of the Fair Deal (Nursing Home Support) scheme delivered by Albert Connaughton, Owner of Belmont House Nursing Home in Stillorgan.  Albert explained how Fair Deal works, how much it costs, as well as how long it takes for an application to be processed.  After that, our Nurse Care Manager Pauline Neary outlined how homecare works, the steps involved in arranging Homecare, the costs and available tax relief.  There was a lively question and answer session followed by tea and coffee.
