Favourite story about being a carer: I had a client who missed knitting greatly, she gave it up due to her fingers being stiff but we loved to talk about it. So i got her needles & wool, set her up with a small amount of stitches. I encouraged her to have a go & see if she was still able…when i returned the next day that client waved her knitted piece at me triumphantly, absolutely thrilled with herself! I was delighted for her & marvelled at her determination. Best days work i ever did.
Why does being a carer work for you: I have flexible hours to suit me as i have kids. I love meeting new people & hearing their life stories aswel as helping them with their day. Its a very rewarding job.
